Wolfsbane Distillery is the name of what is to become a Subiaco landmark.
The historic building situated on Hay Street in West Subi, has been the site of a massive renovation transforming it into a stylish bar & function centre with a micro distillery & other plant capable of delivering excellent small batch exclusive drinks to the public.
The Brief
Chosen on the strength of seeing work we had done for other beverage start-ups, Flametree was approached to create a brand for their new distillery located in Subiaco.
They had come up with the name Wolfsbane, so we started looking at how we could use imagery that felt right for the name & market. The enterprise is headed up by two brothers who are the driving force behind the venue & it’s produce.
After looking at a host of options, we settled for a pair of running wolves & some nicely crafted type. The solution offered a strong, unique & versatile brand mark that tied beautifully with the brand name & the back story of the two brothers.
The design offered a memorable image that worked very well on packaging, merchandise & all other things Wolfsbane. The boys have now gone on to produce a raft of award-winning liquors & are in the process of getting their bar & function centre running in the distillery building.
Several products are already available on their website & keep an eye out for the opening of the Wolves den, a sophisticated lair offering hand made spirits, beer & wines, soon to be a Subiaco landmark.
