Flametree was tasked with the creation of a new brand and website in time for the start of the season in October - necessitating a very fast turn around. We presented several concepts for the new brand mark and visuals showing how the brand would be applied onto the vessel. Once this was finalised a design visual for the website was created and approved. Keyword research was undertaken and our pages targeted for the best SEO results. The website was prioritised and turned around in just two weeks, about about the same time as the whale pods started to pass close to Rottnest on their journey South.

The Brief

The site was launched employing a clean and friendly layout making navigation of the site and the provision of all information necessary to promote a booking easily accessible. The Perth Whale watching website provides a great user experience through the use of text, images, videos, maps and icons.

We are also happy to note that the site is ranking number one organically for the search ‘Whale Watching Perth’. This was by far the most searched Google keyword in the whale watching industry and hence our priority target.

It has been a great season for whale watching with record numbers of whales passing along Perth’s coastline. If this is something that you have always wanted to do, why not tick it off your bucket list and jump on line now to make a booking, to be sure you don’t miss next year’s whale watching season.
