The City has a tradition of community engagement and puts on four major festivals every year.

The City of Fremantle holds four annual festivals: the Fremantle Festival, Heritage Festival, Street Arts Festival and the Hidden Treasures Music Festival.

THE BRIEF

Flametree has had a long standing involvement in the branding and execution of communication media for all 4 festivals. 

Part of the communications mix is digital media. We regularly design and implement electronic invitations, social media advertising banners, enrolment forms and e-newsletters.

Many of the festival participants are users of digital media and it provides an effective, responsive and economical media to reach them.

Donate without a Doubt Logo

City of Fremantle

The Donate without doubt campaign is a City of Fremantle initiative aimed at helping the homeless by providing collection points for people to donate their loose change. The money ends up with St. Patrick's Community Support Centre, allowing them to provide more services to those in need. The campaign encourages homeless people to engage with support services to get the help they need rather than begging for money on the street.





Our brief was to creative a brand for the ‘Donate without Doubt’ campaign requiring consideration be given to the logo, tagline, communications materials and the donation point signage. We wanted the branding to easily communicate the concept, whilst looking engaging and positive. The symbol, choices of typestyles and colours were key to creating a friendly, energetic brand that encourage individual action to donate.

The City of Fremantle were very happy with our initial concepts which we soon worked up to finished artwork and rolled out to the various collection points (re-instated 'old' parking metres). The communication materials for the campaign were also produced and the first inflows of coins have now been happily received.

We were very pleased to be involved with such a novel concept and commend the City of Fremantle for thinking outside for the square. It is a great opportunity to be able to apply our creativity to a great cause.
